The Friends of Milwaukee Avenue Historic District seek to hire a historical consultant to prepare a brief contextual history of the district that expands upon the existing local designation study, recommends a period of significance, and updates the inventory of contributing and non-contributing properties. The consultant will meet the Secretary of the Interior's Professional Qualification Standards for history and/or architectural history as outlined in the Federal Register of 9/29/83, as well as Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Archaeology and Historic Preservation; d. the History and Architecture Survey Manual (August 2017).  Consultant will comply with conditions stipulated by the Minnesota Historical and Cultural Heritage grant, including all milestone/condition reports to be uploaded into the SOCIETY’S grants portal, https://mnhs.fluxx.io.
